Life seems like it’s shaking all around you. The earth beneath you quakes. And you’re grasping onto God’s person…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
…for help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
…to keep from falling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
…to refrain from giving in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know you’re tired. You’re worn. I know it feels like things are never going to improve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some situations truly don’t have a good ending. But life does get better. Problems resolve. Seasons pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will feel joyful again– and the present will be a faded memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You’ll learn from it, grow from it, be stronger because of it. And in time, you’ll value the moment– if only for who you became because of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Honestly, that’s not much comfort while you’re going through the trouble. That’s why we remind ourselves we aren’t standing on shifting sand; but, on a Word!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(Psalm 46:1,2) “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea….”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have a refuge! God is our safe place to run. He’s a supernatural peace in the storms of life. He’s the One who helps us know what we should do in the stress of the trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No matter how frightening it is to feel the earth shake & uncertainty fill our days, we have a place of rest, security & peace in our God of refuge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
